Depop Donation Pop-Up

Class: Visual Narratives for Consumer Engagement

  • Created a 3D rendered donation space by secondhand retailer, Depop, that accommodated social distancing regulations

  • Physical storefront for those moving/relocating during the pandemic to donate clothing, books, and home goods they are not taking with them

  • Chose key cities in which residents were statistically moving, migrating, and downsizing in staggering numbers:  New York City, Boston, Chicago, and San Francisco

  • Donated items would be resold on the Depop app, with all proceeds going to the Center for Disaster Philanthropy’s COVID-19 Fund
